Going Abroad

It's likely that I will not post in this blog again until I have begun my year abroad, but I wanted to create an account now, as I am already very excited for the year that lies ahead of me. I hope that this will serve as a way to stay in touch with, and update, my family and friends - but I also want to make sure I that I use it to document my experiences.

This fall, I will be a Killam Fellow to Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. As of now it appears as if I will be taking:
- Politics in Maritime Canada
- Pre-Confederation Canada
- Reformation Europe
- Intro to Greek Civilization, and
- Gods in Classical Myth.
My schedule is not officially set, though, and if there are any changes to it I will update them later.

Next spring, I will be studying at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Although I will not set my schedule until late next fall, at this time I hope to take:
- Scottish Government & Politics
- Classical World: Art, History & Power, and
- The Making of Modern Scotland, c1830 to the Present

I leave for Nova Scotia at the end of August, but until then I will be finishing up my sophomore year at American University and then enjoying summer at home in Pennsylvania.
